Interested in weaving more interactivity and multimedia into your course? In February 2026 the CTE will be offering a new multi-cartoon character lisa simpson in front of a screen that reads "everything you've done in your life has lead up to you reading this"session workshop providing an opportunity to develop practical skills in creating multimedia and interactive learning materials. Each session combines theoretical background with hands-on practice, so you’ll finish with actual examples of content you’ve made yourself. Whether you’re just starting to work with educational technology or want to build on existing skills, the workshop provides a structured approach to digital content creation.

You’ll work with various digital tools, learn to establish workflows that are actually sustainable, and develop methods for evaluating and improving your materials over time. An important focus throughout is creating content that meets accessibility standards and accommodates different learning needs.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have experience developing interactive learning activities, creating multimedia content with accessibility in mind, and applying design principles to evaluate your work. You’ll also have established some practical workflows for creating and maintaining digital content that you can continue to use in your teaching practice.a sample simple storyboard
