Generative AI

Tools for Discussion

Additional Tools to Support Faculty

The CTE has prepared a slide deck and corresponding facilitation guide with resources which faculty can adapt for their first class. This was created by CTE faculty with the goal of supporting all faculty with tools that allow for facilitating discussion about Gen AI in the classroom.  The CTE recommends that the Student Guide to Generative AI at Cap U be given to students to pre-read before this micro-lesson.

Current research has demonstrated the importance of discussing your guidelines with students early and often. These tools are meant to be adapted to your own teaching and learning practice in a short micro-lesson, preferably on the first day of class.
