The AI Assessment Scale (AIAS is a framework that helps educators integrate AI into assessments while maintaining academic integrity and promoting ethical use. The AIAS consists of five levels, each defining the extent of AI utilization in assessments:

Please note that it is your choice to decide whether you wish to use GAI for your work in this class. We will spend time talking about use cases, how and when to use it and when not to use it under a critical generative AI literacy framework so that you can feel comfortable making this choice.
