If you’ve participated in faculty evaluations as a colleague, chair, coordinator or convenor, you may have thought to yourself, “There’s got to be a better way!”—And, you’re right!
By participating in this Peer Observation of Teaching and Learning Workshop, you will learn how to conduct more effective peer observations and practice the skills and techniques used in the peer observation process. This will also be an opportunity for you to discuss teaching and learning with supportive and inspiring colleagues, to participate in the peer observation process, and to practice completing the coordinator/colleague evaluation form that has been developed with the cooperation of the CFA, HR and CTE.
The workshop includes nine hours spent together online with additional readings and activities to complete prior to each session.
