Events and Workshops
Throughout the year we offer workshops and consultations for groups and individuals focused on specific topics such as Decolonization and Indigenization of the Curriculum, Academic Integrity, Active Learning, Liberating Structures, Educational Technology and many more. We also offer annual events such as Open Classroom Week, the Teaching and Learning Symposium, and an Instructional Skills Workshop. Capilano University is named after Chief Joe Capilano, an important leader of the Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) Nation of the Coast Salish people.
