Aurelea Mahood

Department of English

Aurelea teaches in English and Liberal Studies. Faculty lead on the Capilano University Portfolio Pilot in 2014, she has been an active member of the campus ePortfolio community ever since. Along with Cheryl Schreader and Brook Houglum, Aurelea was the co-facilitator of the original Folio Thinking Campus Learning Community. As a past coordinator of the Liberal Studies Major and member of the original English 100 Portfolio Pilot, she has extensive experience with portfolios at the course and program level. This term Aurelea is looking forward leading Folio Fridays with faculty, staff, and administrators who are interested in developing their own portfolio sites. Primary expertise: Deploying course- and program-based portfolio initiatives.

Cheryl Schreader

Department of Geography

Cheryl currently teaches in the departments of geography, liberal studies and tourism. She has been an active member of the campus ePortfolio community since Fall 2015. A co-facilitator of the original Folio Thinking Campus Learning Community, she has experience with portfolios at the course and program level. This term Cheryl is looking forward to co-facilitating our first ever workshop series collaboration with the Career Development Centre and supporting all Capilano faculty whether they are just getting started with portfolios or most experienced adopters. Primary expertise: Deploying course- and program-based portfolio initiatives.

James Neufeld

IDEA School of Design

James has over 20 years of experience in the web/interactive design and development, Internet marketing and social media industries, working primarily as a freelancer, consultant and instructor, but also as a subcontractor to small agencies. He has experience with a variety of clients in small business, government, institutional and not-for-profit sectors. James is also an instructor, lab supervisor and blog/social media coordinator at Capilano University’s IDEA School of Design.
