Teaching with eLearn Thursdays

These 30-min sessions will provide hands-on tutorials for moving your face-to-face course modules, assessments, etc. to eLearn. Each tutorial will focus on the “mechanics” of eLearn by walking you through the steps. Each session will answer a question “How do I …. on eLearn?”. If you would like to take this opportunity to learn from a faculty colleague, sign up for one of the available sessions/dates. Resources related to each of sessions will also be provided.

HOW DO I DO CREATE GROUPS ON ELEARN?
10:00 am & 1:30 pm
This 30 min session is a hands-on tutorial for creating groups or allowing students to select their groups using eLearn.  The tutorial will focus on the “mechanics” of eLearn, walking you through the steps.  If you would like to take this opportunity to learn from a faculty colleague, sign up for one of the available dates.

HOW DO I DO A GROUP PRESENTATION ASSIGNMENT IN ELEARN?
10:30 am & 2:00 pm
eLearn does not offer the option to have a live audience for a “traditional” group presentation in front of class (Zoom, MS Teams or WebEx offer this option).  This 30 min session is a hands-on tutorial for creating, grading and having students view (asynchronously) a group presentation in eLearn.  The tutorial will focus on the “mechanics” of eLearn, walking you through the steps.  If you would like to take this opportunity to learn from a faculty colleague, sign up for one of the available dates.

HOW DO I GRADE A GROUP PROJECT/PRESENTATION IN ELEARN?
11:00 am & 2:30 pm
This 30 min session is a hands-on tutorial for grading a group submission on eLearn. The tutorial will focus on the “mechanics” of eLearn, walking you through the steps required. If you would like to take this opportunity to learn from a faculty colleague, sign up for one of the available dates.

HOW DO I PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON A GROUP PROJECT/PRESENTATION IN ELEARN?
12:00 pm & 3:00 pm
This 30 min session is a hands-on tutorial for providing feedback on a group project/presentation in eLearn – written comments on the submission, summary comments, highlighting, check marks, etc. The tutorial will focus on the “mechanics” of eLearn, walking you through the steps. HOW DO I DO PEER EVALUATION ON ELEARN?
12:30 pm & 4:00 pm
This 30 min session is a hands-on tutorial for moving an existing Peer Evaluation form onto eLearn. The tutorial will focus on the “mechanics” of eLearn, walking you through the steps.
