This one-week microcourse will introduce you to the fundamentals of design and delivery of online teaching and learning. The microcourse will be offered in a remote adapted delivery mode.
Each day will begin with a 90-minute webinar (hosted in WebEx) on a different topic of course design and delivery that is followed by self-paced activities that allow you to build on what you have learned.
Topics include how to make adjustments to your course design following best practices for online teaching, how to adapt formative and summative assessments that work online, how to quickly learn to operate online delivery tools such as video conferencing and the new Kaltura video platform, and how to build a community of online learners.
