Events and Workshops

Throughout the year we offer workshops and consultations for groups and individuals focused on specific topics such as Decolonization and Indigenization of the Curriculum, Academic Integrity, Active Learning, Liberating Structures, Educational Technology and many more. We also offer annual events such as Open Classroom Week, the Teaching and Learning Symposium, and an Instructional Skills Workshop. Look for the CTE Newsletter in your inbox monthly for updates on workshops, new resources and services and articles about teaching and learning. 

 

Capilano University is named after Chief Joe Capilano, an important leader of the Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) Nation of the Coast Salish people. We respectfully acknowledge that our campuses are located on the unceded sovereign Indigenous Nations of Lil’wat, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm(Musqueam), Shíshálh (Sechelt), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh(Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh).
