The Truth, Reconciliation and Allyship FLC will provide a safe place for Faculty to examine their worldview while strengthening their decolonizing lens. Faculty will build on the introductory principles of decolonization and indigenization while increasing their knowledge of the history between Indigenous Sovereign Nations and the colonial state of Canada. Going forward, the aspiring allies will increase their understanding of culturally safe allyship principles woven alongside their responsibilities.
