Victor Arvizu (he, him, his)

Vi​ctor Arvizu is an accomplished Educational Technology Specialist at Capilano University. Originally from Mexico, Victor brings a rich cultural perspective and a passion for educational technology.

He holds an MBA from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and a Master of Technology Management from UNAM. He also earned a North American Business Management Applied Post Baccalaureate Diploma from Capilano University, where he now contributes to shaping educational technology.

Victor’s career spans eLearning and educational technology, including managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and supporting faculty and students in adopting existing and emerging technologies. At Capilano University, he provides personalized consultations, conducts workshops, and curates resources for educational technology platforms.

Before Capilano University, Victor worked with organizations like Novartis, administering their LMS and ensuring compliance with training standards in the pharmaceutical industry. His previous roles have included eLearning Consultant, and HR Information System Specialist, showcasing his versatile skill set.

Beyond his professional achievements, Victor is passionate about supporting others and enhancing learning experiences. He enjoys walking and biking through North Vancouver’s scenic routes and is a cat enthusiast person. In his free time, Victor explores new ideas and innovations in educational technology.
