Sandra has been a faculty member at Cap U since 2001. She teaches art history and women’s and gender studies. Her specialty areas are 19th and 20th century art and her interests include art and activism, art and trauma, and comics and graphic novels. In her spare time she walks her two greyhounds and plays ukulele.
Capilano University is named after Chief Joe Capilano, an important leader of the Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) Nation of the Coast Salish people.
