SUMMARY:Peer Observation of Teaching and Learning Workshop
DESCRIPTION:If you’ve done faculty evaluations as a colleague\, chair\, coordinator or convenor\, you may have thought to yourself\, “There’s got to be a better way!”—And\, you’re right! \nAbout the Workshop \nBy participating in the Peer Observation of Teaching and Learning Workshop\, you will learn how to conduct more effective peer observations and practice the skills and techniques used in the peer observation process. \nYou will also get the opportunity to talk about great teaching with supportive and inspiring colleagues as well as test drive an upcoming coordinator and colleague report form for faculty evaluations that is being undertaken with the cooperation of the CFA and HR. \nThe workshop includes nine hours spent together online with additional readings and activities to complete prior to each session. \nWorkshop date and time \nOctober 2\, 9 and 16\, 20249 a.m.–noonVia Zoom \nHow to registerPlease contact Lori Walker at loriwalker@capilanou.ca to register or for more information. \n
