DESCRIPTION:May 4-7\, 2021 \nJoin us for Capilano University’s 2021 Teaching & Learning Symposium: Land & Decolonized Place-Based Learning. \nOur Symposium is an opportunity to connect and create a space to think\, reflect\, recognize and support each other after a challenging year. \n\nTo apply the principles of decolonizing and indigenizing education we must first experience them. Decolonizing and indigenizing principles have been woven throughout the development and delivery of this year’s symposium. This symposium offers you an opportunity to make meaning in your own teaching practice – an opportunity to ask yourself\, how do I apply these ways of teaching and learning to my pedagogy? \nRegistrations are now open.
